I love cooking, but lost the passion for it when I moved to Darwin. I blame this on a number of things – the heat, the wide variety of tropical ingredients when I was only interested in cooking European dishes, and the fact I had a baby.
A year and a half after moving here, I’m slowly settling into live in the tropics, coping with a baby (!) and pulling out the recipe books again.
